Uniforms & Equipment

Uniforms

It is preferred that Heidelberg Cricket Club players purchase and wear club training apparel, although this is not compulsory. New Junior players will recieve a playing top and cap as part of their registration in the first year. Additional tops/caps can be purchased from our merchandise store here

Training Uniforms

The following training garments are optional for each playing segment:

• Junior Girls - Junior Training Shirt

• Junior Boys - Junior Training Shirt

• Senior Female - see below.

• Senior Mens - Senior Training Top or Playing Kit

• Veterans - Senior Training Top or Playing Kit

Game Day Uniforms

The following game day garments are necessary for each playing segment:

• Junior Girls - Junior Playing Shirt and White Cricket Pants (not sold by HCC)

• Junior Boys - Junior Playing Shirt and White Cricket Pants (not sold by HCC)

• Senior Female - TBC

• Senior Mens - Senior Mens Compulsory Kit (includes game day top, game day pants, training top and training shorts).

• Veterans - Senior Playing Shirt (either Long or Short sleeve*) and HCC White Cricket Pants (or full Mens Playing Kit)

*short sleeves are worn by most players.

Equipment

Junior Boys - Most junior boys prefer to have their own playing equipment/kit bag (such as one like this) although for new players, we do have some kits that can be loaned until the player is able to purchase their own.

Junior Girls - All junior girls teams recieve a club-supplied kit bag with all the equipment needed to play. The girls can purchase their own kit-bag if they prefer, and most players do prefer to have their own kit once they have been playing for a while.

Senior Women - As with our Junior Girls, HCC will provide a “team equipment kit” for players to train with and use at the game. Women can purchase their own kit-bag if they prefer to use their own equipment.

Seniors - to play in our senior teams, you will be required to have your own cricketing gear. This includes helmet, bat, gloves, box/cup, thigh guard and pads.

Veterans - to play in our veteran teams, you will be required to have your own cricketing gear. This includes helmet, bat, gloves, box/cup, thigh guard and pads.
